Through this blog post, I will be bringing you through the requirements that Han Dynasty has satisfied in becoming a CAT 1 spa. 

Licensing of Han Dynasty 

Terms & Condition of Sales 

As part of the service guarantees, Han Dynasty stated on their spa policies that there will be a cooling period of 5 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holiday). This is to safeguard its customers who had bought the spa package impulsively. Han Dynasty will allow its customers to seek a full refund within 5 working days if they felt that the spa package is not suitable for them without being asked a single question. 

Pricing 

I felt that the pricing of each treatment can be easily identified. Han Dynasty displayed their pricing clearly on their promotional poster and spa menu with no hidden cost as seen in the picture below.

All the prices reflected are in nett as they are not GST registered and there is no service charge. This saves the customer like me a huge trouble as I do not have to calculate the price of my treatment after including GST and service charge. Han Dynasty also stated on their spa menu that additional charges of $10 will applies if I wish to incorporate any other services or products during my massage like using of premium essential oil. I felt that by having details stated clearly will help to prevent any dispute in terms of pricing during the payment. 

Payment

Moving on to the payment methods, Han Dynasty offers 3 different payment methods to its customers. All payments methods are clearly stayed on their official website as shown below. 

However, the type of payment method is not visible on the reception counter where the transaction is made. Without displaying the payment mode, the customer will start asking the type of payment mode that Han Dynasty accepts which will lengthen the checkout process. 

Retailing 

Fast forward to my experience while making payment. After paying with my debit card, the receptionist only handed me the card transaction receipt which only states the transaction amount. I am only managed to get the original receipt with full details like the time, location and service upon request.  

Dressing & Grooming 

Both the therapists and the receptionist can be seen wearing the same black colour. There are two different types of uniform which is the dress that the receptionist is wearing and a two-piece (polo and pants) that the therapists are wearing. Both parties can be seen wearing their name tag on their left side.
