Reflection

There are some aspects that I will consider before signing up for a spa package.

Firstly, the location and opening hours of the spa is important to me. The spa must be accessible in terms of its location. All the 3 outlets of Han Dynasty are evenly spread out across the central region of Singapore. In addition, they have a long opening hours from 10am to 10.30pm except for the branch at Thomson which closes at 12am. This allows me to enjoy their service at any time of the day all the way till 12am. 

Next, the price must be affordable. Statistics have shown that an average price of 1 hour standard body and combination massage is around $93.60.

An hour of body massage at Han Dynasty only cost $55 which is way cheaper as compared to the above statistics. On ladies exclusive Tuesday promotion, 1 hour body massage only cost $45. This calculated to be more than 50% cheaper as compared to a standard body massage. Besides ladies, the elderly are also able to enjoy the service at a cheaper price. What is more attractive than not paying GST and service charge as all the prices of Han Dynasty are in nett price. 

Thirdly will be the ambiance and atmosphere of the spa. The purpose of a spa is to let its customers experience relaxation. I felt that Han Dynasty has successfully achieved it as I was immersed into the world of relaxation during my visit.

By having good service, it will help to retain and build strong relationship with their customers. 

To add on, Han Dynasty provides post-massage treats like ginger tea and homemade dessert. I was told that the choice of dessert changes everyday. Yummy!
